Gray fur seals hugged your body for days

The moment of the young seal clutching your body died after being abandoned by her mother was recorded by a British photographer.

The two-week-old is lying on your body for hours on a beach near the village of North Somercotes, Lincolnshire County, England, the Long Room reported on December 8. Young seals seem to be leaning on your body to find warm comfort and squeeze flippers up your body.

"This scene almost blew me up. The young seal clutched another dead baby within a few hours. It was quite a rare and sad behavior. I have been taking pictures for 4 years and not yet. I could only guess it was abandoned by my mother and used another seal's body as a source of comfort, she left her body the next day but did not go more than 30 meters away and keep coming back, " said wildlife photographer Sean Weekly.

Weekly said he took the photo on November 21 and said the young seal would not survive long.

"He knew his fate before that happened. When abandoned, the young seal tried to reach the males, females and even other young animals to find a way to breastfeed. It would do everything. But the female seal will bite it because it doesn't have enough milk, it has fallen into a situation where it just wants to feel safe next to something without being bitten or chased and it decides to choose "The young seal is dead. The wild world is sometimes very harsh. I know what's going to happen but can't help it," Weekly said.
