According to an article in The Daily Beast newspaper, from January 2011 to May this year, 37 palms surgeries were conducted at a medical facility in the country of the rising sun. The cost for once "recreating only hands to change fate" in Shonan Cosmetic Center is 999 USD and this facility is currently unable to meet the increasing demand of customers.
Dr. Matsuoka, who performed 20 finger-pointing reconstructive surgeries, said: "If you try to create a laser-pointing line, the palms will scar and leave no visible marks. You will have to use an electric scalpel and create a deliberately trembling incision because the pointing lines are never perfectly aligned. "
The whole process usually lasts 10 - 15 minutes and may include changing 5 - 10 lines of hands in the palm.
Some patients even used a pen to show the surgeon how they wanted to have the finger pointing before performing the procedure. On average, it takes about 1 month for the wounds to close and form new hand lines.

Most patients who prefer this type of surgery are the ones who believe in the art of pointing. They also expect that new artificial hand lines will make them lucky, successful and live longer.
While men often want to extend their lines to hide their money and success in their careers, women want to extend their lines of love / marriage. In fact, some women don't even have a path to marriage and believe that is why they don't find their true "half" . Others have a path to marriage but want to re-create a new line because they think the sky seems too short and makes them fall in love.
