According to Jani, during the past 7 decades, he has not eaten or drank and has not released anything from his body. In April, the Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) invited him to the Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad City, Gurjarat State to test his strange ability.

AFP reported during the past two weeks that Jani was under the strict supervision of 30 medical staff and cameras. During that time he did not eat, drink and did not enter the toilet. The trial ended on May 6 and Jani appeared at a hospital press conference in a completely healthy state.

'We still do not understand why he still lives normally. This is indeed a mysterious phenomenon ', Sudhir Shah, a neurologist who participated in the experiment, said.

DRDO hopes the test results will help soldiers, victims of disasters, astronauts and many others survive in harsh circumstances without food or water.

'Jani only comes into contact with water when bathing and rinsing for two weeks,' said G. Ilavazahagan, director of the Indian Ministry of Defense's Institute of Applied Physiology and Science.

After the experiment ended, Jani returned to his hometown near Ambaji City, north of Gujarat state to continue practicing yoga and meditation. The 82-year-old said a god gave him special abilities when he was young.

During the follow-up process, scientists have repeatedly taken a picture of the internal organs, brain, and blood vessels, and examined the ability of the heart, lungs and memory.

The results of Jeni's DNA, hormone, enzyme, metabolic processes and genes will be published in a few months.

'If Jani does not take energy from food and water, he must certainly take energy from things in his surroundings, such as light,' Shah commented.

Prahlad Jani, 82, left home at the age of 7 and wandered around Rajasthan, India. Jani believes that she is supported by a goddess so she does not need to eat or drink and still live normally. The goddess poured the first potion through a hole in the palate, supposedly.
