Giraffe Manor

Everyday at around 9 am, friendly giraffes went around the house and poked their heads through the window demanding food. At this time, visitors can feed them on the table, take pictures and play with animals at the front door or even the 2nd floor bedroom window. This is the only place in the world you have Can share breakfast with the tallest animal in the world.

Giraffe Manor was built in 1932 by Mr. David Duncan on an area of over 600,000 square meters near the Mbagathi River. In the 1960s, the land gradually fell into an abandoned landscape. In 1974, Jock Leslie-Melville - the nephew of a Scottish earl and his wife founded the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Fund and bought Giraffe Manor. After that, they brought here two Rothschild giraffes.

Over the years, two giraffes have produced many generations of giraffes every day. Today, this sanctuary has become an indispensable destination for visitors who want to visit East Africa. Many people have been here every week and there is no shortage of continuous guests visiting the hotel. This is not a strange thing because this land is also a paradise for many birds and other rare animals.
