We know that 3/4 of the Earth is covered by water. But according to estimates by experts, there are about 17,692 square meters of trash (including plastic bags and plastic waste products).

According to the statistics of Clean Air, every minute, one million plastic bags are used and only 1% of them will be recycled.

Thus, with a value of about 200 VND / plastic bag, society has wasted 288 billion VND / day because of this toxic product. Without plastic bags, that money would completely bring new life to about 1 billion chronic food shortages worldwide.

In Vietnam, despite understanding the dangers of plastic bags, every day Vietnamese people still emit 2,500 tons of plastic garbage (mostly plastic bags).

That is equivalent to about 9 square meters of bombs per square meter in our country. Therefore, a future without plastic bags will not be achieved immediately. Instead, the best way is to limit the use of plastic bags indiscriminately.

To limit the use of plastic bags:

- Say NO to buying or using new plastic bags. Instead, choose to buy and use recycled plastic bags and paper bags.

- Clean and reuse new plastic bags used 1, 2 times.

- Put used plastic bags into trash cans, not arbitrarily burning or burying them in contravention of regulations.
