In the North, the weather is hot and the rain is heavy

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting stated that on April 23-25, the Northern and Northern Central provinces continue to have hot weather with the highest temperature of 34-37 degrees C. Particularly in the northwest region Northern and mountainous areas of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces have intense heat with the highest temperature up to 38-40 degrees C. Besides, in the evening and night, thunderstorms with strong gusts of wind occur localized in West Bắc Bộ (Hòa Bình, Sơn La) and North Central.

Then, from night 25 to 27 April, thunderstorms tended to develop and expand more in the North and North Central. Specifically, in the night of 25 and 26 April, the North East and the provinces of Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh may have moderate to heavy rain, where there is a very heavy rain and thunderstorms and lightning. , hail and strong winds. From April 28 to April 30, thunderstorms in these regions decreased, the temperature increased again at 32-35 degrees Celsius, particularly in the western region and the North Central Coast mountains, it was hot 24-37 degrees C. From the night April 30 to May 1, Northern provinces showers and thunderstorms scattered with cyclones, lightning, hail and strong gusts, the highest temperature 30-33 degrees C.

The center's experts forecast that from now until the end of 2019, the heat waves will not last long and focus on May in the North West, May-June in the North East and May-August in the North. and Middle Central.

Southern hot weather lasts long

The national forecasting agency said that while the provinces from Ha Tinh to the North have hot weather and thunderstorms appear alternately, the provinces from Quang Binh to the South maintain the hot weather lasting until the end. April is gradually declining.

Specifically, from April 23-27, the provinces from Quang Binh to Binh Thuan and the Central Highlands and the South continue to maintain a wide area of ​​heat with the highest temperature, respectively 34-37 degrees. C (there are places 37-39 degrees C) and 35-36 degrees C (somewhere over 37 degrees C). Particularly, the North Central Highlands is cooler with the highest temperature of 31-34 degrees Celsius.

During this time, from the evening, the provinces from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, along with the Southeast and Central Highlands regions, may have local thunderstorms with strong wind.

From April 28 to May 1, wide-area heat showed signs of decline in these areas with the highest temperature in the day dropping by 1-2 degrees Celsius. Accordingly, the hot sun only remained locally. some places from Quang Nam to Khanh Hoa.
