A half-meter-long corpse made the British confused
The nearly half-meter-long rat caught in the southern coast of England makes many people fear the country is being invaded by the giant rat.
Terry Walker, a pest control expert and managing director of TP Pest Control Services, captured a 48cm mouse at a Sandbanks playground in Poole, Dorset. According to Walker, this is the biggest mouse he has ever seen in 20 years of practice.

"You can hardly find a larger mouse. I have shared pictures and information about mice on many people's forums. Most people agree that this is a big mouse in the UK." It is the biggest one I've ever caught , " Walker said.
Many people expressed concern and bewildered about the risk of giant mice invading Britain. According to experts, rats can bite furniture and electrical equipment in people's homes. They become larger due to mutations against rat poison.
Walker once captured a 41cm long mouse in a restaurant near Poole High Street not long ago. Walker thinks that the mice are getting bigger in recent years.
The number of rats in the UK increased from about 80 million in 2013 to nearly 200 million. Researchers predict giant mice may soon reach larger numbers than humans in the UK. They charted the spread of giant rats through 17 counties across the UK and found them pouring into towns and cities from rural areas.
