After long flights, many people fall into Jet Lag syndrome (time difference syndrome due to long distance flight, from one place to another). Although this is a temporary disorder, it causes too much discomfort, and takes 2-3 days or longer to return to normal.

If you have a reasonable diet, especially before, during and after the flight, you will feel better. There are many types of food and drinks that can help treat Jet Lag syndrome , often accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, or sleepiness, headache, anxiety, diarrhea, constipation, dizziness and dehydration. Sometimes there are signs such as abnormal heart rate, easy to fall ill and even loss of memory.

Drink water. Keep your body hydrated whenever you have a flight, especially a long flight. Drink plenty of water before and during the flight.

Do not use drinks containing caffeine. The drinks containing caffeine make you more vulnerable to Jet Lag. So try to limit coffee and other caffeinated drinks.

Ginger tea. Grind or crush the ginger into the boiling water. Boil like that for 2-3 minutes, then pour into the cup. Add a teaspoon of honey and drink. Without conditions to make ginger tea, you can also chew ginger. Do this 2-3 times a day.

Foods high in protein. Once you get Jet Lag, eat mostly protein-rich foods. Eat foods like meat, fish, chicken, cheese, eggs and tofu at breakfast and lunch. These foods are stimulated to produce epinephrine, norepinephrine and dopamine in the body, substances that help treat Jet Lag.

Fruit and vegetable mix. Eat two of these. Once you get Jet Lag, you can also eat light foods like vegetables. If possible, bring some fruit and vegetables you make on your journey. Foods often provided in flights are difficult to digest.

Gentle exercise or physical activity a week before the journey. During a long flight, occasionally go back and forth, stretching your arms and legs.

Sleep well. Try to coax a deep sleep after the journey. You will definitely feel refreshed the next morning. A good night's sleep is the best way to cure Jet Lag syndrome . Besides, this syndrome will get worse when you don't sleep during the long journey. So try to take a nap anytime during flight hours.
