The vertebrate lizard appeared in the mid-Cretaceous period, about 112 million to 97 million years ago, in the North African swamp.

This vertebrate lizard has two types: spine lizard from Egypt and spine lizard from Morocco. Spinosaurus' special backbone, with its long spine stretches, grows up to 2 meters in length, linked together by the skin, looks like the structure of a sail. They are about 16-18m long and weigh 23 tons.

After studying the vertebrate fossil of vertebrate lizards found in Australia in 2011, along with research materials, scientists believe that this vertebrate lizard is the largest animal in all. Both carnivorous dinosaurs have been known to date, even larger than Tyrannosaurus rex and Giganotosaurus.
