In order to minimize emissions as well as pioneering in renewable energy use, in early 2010, Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (CNC) will bring 6-10 electric cars first to serve the task. go.
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, cum Head of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Management Board Nguyen Van Lang said, is preparing for the system of electric vehicles running in the high-tech zone. In early 2010, the first 6-10 units will be put into use for travel to minimize emissions.
"In the long run, according to the Prime Minister's decision, traveling in high-tech zones is mainly by bus. And we have taken into account the option of a bus powered by electricity or using renewable energy , " said Lang. adds.

Also according to Deputy Minister Lang, the installation of LED street lights using wind and solar energy is the first step for the Management Board to install this lighting system in the whole high-tech park of nearly 1,600 hectares. In addition, the CDM building (clean development mechanism - reducing greenhouse gas emissions) is under construction and will be put into use soon.
As one of the two high-tech zones of the country, with an area of nearly 1,600 hectares, HHTP will be built according to a scientific city model with full utility services. The areas to be focused on development include Information Technology, software; Biotechnology; New material technology; Environment friendly technology, new energy technology .
