US soldiers are preparing for a virtual reality system like the Google mirror, designed specifically to meet the needs of field combat.

The company responsible for designing hats 'smart' is Applied Research Associates, said the system is part of the project lasted six years by the Research Office of Project Defense modern (DARPA) under the floor Pentagon.

Called ARC4 , it allows battlefield commanders to send maps and information directly to the screen in front of soldiers, according to Wired.

The device is integrated into the helmet, and can even be linked to the weapons control system that soldiers bring with them.

Instead of looking at a normal map or a carry-on computer, soldiers will see virtual icons displayed as digital markers, indicating where they are going, such as road maps. soldiers, gatherers, hostile forces or comrades, mines or planes, all spread out before their sight.
