Soldiers often carry 45 kilograms of equipment or more in conditions of hilly or bumpy roads.

Prolonged activity over long periods can result in joint injury or worse. The Advanced Defense Research Projects Agency (DARPA) designed a suit designed to prevent injury and increase the strength of soldiers.

The Warrior Web is an under-uniformed garment designed to increase muscle activity and reduce physical strain, according to CNET.

By using mesh and adaptive sensing technology, the suit can feel when it needs to harden and soften at key points in the body to avoid injury.

It will not interfere but reinforce the outer armor. A single 100-watt battery supply is enough to power the entire jacket.

In May, DARPA introduced the design prototype of the Warrior Web project, which featured wearers and a 27.6kg load.
