Killer bee parasites hidden in flies pupae 35 million years
Researchers found in fossil larval fossils for 35 million years in France, for example, rare fossils in fossils.
Parasitic wasps in fly pupae.
When scientists scanned 55 million years of larvae, they found parasitic bees in their bodies.
Of the 1510 fly pupae found in one location in France, 55 have parasitic wasps.
Some of their parasitic bees spray their eggs into pupae when maggots transform into flies. Hornets bee inside flies and eat young flies.
Scientists identified four new types of wasps among fossils.
