Launching the Vietnam Talent Contest 2006

The annual "Vietnamese Talent" contest in the field of IT-Communications (organized by the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT) as the main sponsor and sponsor) was officially launched this morning (1 / 3) in Hanoi.

BTC said that compared to the competition in 2005, Vietnam Talent 2006 had some adjustments on criteria and rules. The products will be divided into two categories:

The first is that products that have been tested and used for a long time have been widely used in practice. The level of practical application is expressed by economic contracts signed with customers who are using the product. For internal application products that do not have an economic contract, they must be secured by the certification of the managing unit.

The talent for Vietnamese Talents does not stop at the idea or the software, but rather the finished products that are extended to the field of hardware, software, network solutions and technology integration. In 2005, there were 174 products in the above areas.

The second type is the finished product in the form of potential applications, newly tested on a small scale.

The Preliminary Council will consider recruiting from each of the above products to select 10 products in the final round. Each type of product has a set of prizes including: first prize worth VND 100 million, second prize of VND 50 million, third prize of VND 30 million and encouragement prizes.

BTC expects this year's competition (with the deadline to receive entries until August 31, 2006, awarded on November 20, 2006) "will honor more talents, make practical contributions in life "and select the highest award winning products (compared to 2005 only the second highest prize). Prof., Professor Nguyen Van Hieu continues to be the President of the Finalist Committee.

At the launching ceremony this morning, there was a participant who attended the Vietnam Talent 2005. However, according to BTC, after the Launching Ceremony, there will be exchanges with university students and officials. Interested in the competition in the localities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Thai Nguyen, Khanh Hoa.
