Mako sharks are killed

A terrified diver witnessed a shark weighing more than 100kg off Australia was cruelly hung up.

The 1.8m long fin mako shark was found by a construction worker and local photographer named Robbert Westerdyk. At that time, Mr. Westerdyk was diving in the HMAS Adelaide marine reserve, 96km north of Sydney.

"In 40 years of diving in the sea, I have never seen such a scene," the photographer said.

State officials in New South Wales, Australia are investigating the murder.
