Maxtor's 1TB hard drive
Recently, the world's leading computer hard drive manufacturer Maxtor has introduced oneTouch II external hard drive product line. This product line is designed to help Mac and PC users increase storage capacity and backup.
The oneTouch II product line has a maximum capacity of up to 1TB and costs from 159.95 USD to 899.95USD depending on the capacity of the drive. Some models of this product line will begin to have eyes on the market starting from the end of this month.
OneTouch III currently has 3 versions - USB2.0 connection version, FireWire 400 connection version and FireWire 800 version.
OneTouch III noise protection features are also significantly improved to minimize the noise of the drive during operation. Besides anti-shock feature helps to protect the mechanism of the drive.
The software that comes with the product has also been upgraded to improve the backup, synchronization, or storage interface. Maxtor Drivelock software allows users to use passwords to secure data on the hard drive.
All three oneTouch III versions will be officially available on the market by the end of the first quarter of 2006.
