Meal at an altitude of 30km in outer space costs 12.3 billion VND, limited to only 6 guests

The meals described are priced

The meal is described as having a "sky-high" price, located at an altitude of 30km above sea level, seemingly very picky, but dozens of people have expressed interest in this experience.

Michelin star meals set in outer space with prices up to 495,000 USD (about 12.3 billion VND) are attracting the attention of the rich.

SpaceVIP , one of the first luxury space tourism companies, said it will host an in-space dining experience featuring renowned Danish chef Rasmus Munk.

6 tourists known as explorers will "make history" by enjoying the meal of a lifetime at an altitude of 30km above sea level during a journey lasting about 6 hours.

According to the organizer, chef Munk will serve his meal on the world's first carbon-neutral spacecraft called Spaceship Neptune . The trip is expected to launch at the end of 2025 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida (USA).

At an altitude of more than 30km above sea level, the tourist group will have access to wifi on the spacecraft. They can even live stream their experience for family and friends back home to admire during the flight.

With this experience, visitors also have the opportunity to watch the dawn of the earth in a way that any normal person has never known.

According to Mr. Roman Chiporukha, founder of SpaceVIP, the party's chef will serve guests dishes inspired by "the role of space exploration over the past 60 years." The meal menu has not yet been finalized. The Danish chef revealed that he wants to create new and creative dishes like the upcoming journey.

"The dishes will involve materials that are super light and porous. They all smell good," said the 32-year-old chef.

Despite the price of up to half a million USD, as soon as it was introduced to the public, dozens of high-class customers expressed interest . However, the trip is limited to a maximum of 6 guests to ensure safety.

"We know that this is a very expensive journey. But nonetheless, it is the first time a Michelin-star meal has been taken to space. We expect to organize many similar trips in the future. " , said the founder of SpaceVIP.

It is known that SpaceVIP is not the first luxury travel company to give visitors the opportunity to enjoy meals in space.

Previously in 2023, the French company Zaphalto also introduced a meal experience in the stratosphere in outer space. With this service, tourists have to pay from 132,000 USD/ticket (3.2 billion VND) . The service is also expected to welcome customers from 2025.
