Microsoft released a new version of Longhorn Server
Microsoft has just released a new version of Windows Server Longhorn Beta 2 server operating system.
Windows Server Longhorn Beta Build 5600 version has overcome a number of bugs and improved performance, reliability. This version is now available to users in the Community Technology Preview (CTP) program that belongs to the Microsoft Developer Network and TechNet networks.
Thus, the Longhorn Server operating system version has been released at the same time as Windows Vista Release Candidate 1. It is expected that Vista will have an official version early next year. Meanwhile Longhorn Server is not included in that plan. It is expected that in the first half of next year Microsoft will release Longhorn Server Beta 3 version.
The developer said improvements in the Windows Vista version have been included in the new version of Longhorn Server, including improvements in operating system stability and operability, such as reduced boot time and Setting.
A number of new products have been released by Microsoft in the past including Visual Studio Supplement Version for .Net 3.0, IronPython 1.0 and PDF integration application for Office 2007.
