Mistakes when eating can shorten life

According to a new study by scientists at Harvard University, Americans, eating old animals can shorten their lifespan.

As a result of experiments on mice, flies and yeast, scientists at Harvard University claim they have concrete evidence that the food from meat of old organisms will accelerate. Aging process at the cellular level.

The research team analyzed and evaluated the level of nutrition and the risk factors in the meat of animals raised on many farms. They took meat samples from 3-year-old deer and 25-year-old deer. The 25-year-old deer accumulates more harmful substances while the nutritional value is less than that of a 3-year-old deer.

Lead researcher Vadim Gladyshev, and colleagues, gave three groups of organisms including mice, flies and yeast to eat foods of different ages for several years. They found that the organisms that were fed "young food" and were alive would have less damaged cells.

Specifically, the scientists divided the mice, flies and yeast into two groups, each of which would be fed "young food" or "old food". As a result, the "old food " yeast group was shortened by 18% compared to the yeast group fed "young food", similarly in the fly, this rate was 13%.

Female mice that eat the old deer meat will have a 13% shorter lifespan than the nymphs. However, male mice did not differ significantly.

Mr. Gladyshev also emphasized that this research has not been applied to humans, because only animal studies have been conducted. The organisms in this experiment were fed only one type of food during the process, while humans had a richer and richer diet.

In the near future, the group will continue to conduct new tests to make a formal conclusion.
