International archaeologists have unearthed an intact 2,500-year-old mummy, frozen in a snow-capped mountain in Mongolia, with blond hair, tattoos and a fedora.

German archaeologist Hermann Parzinger said the Scythian warrior was found in June at 2,600 m high on Altays in an intact grave. The tomb was completely untouched until the group found out.

The researchers say the most impressive feature of this man is his blond hair, Parzinger thinks it has become yellow after the man dies.

The man seemed quite well-off, wrapped in a beaver leather with mink fur decoration and a wool lining. The skin on the upper body still has tattoos.

2 horses with delicate saddles and reins, weapons and wine jars made of wood and clay, placed next to the mummy to accompany warriors to the afterlife.

Parzinger now states that the remains of Scythian, Iranian nomads, were found only in Russia along the Altays. New findings show that their territory is much wider than previously thought.
