More than 30 energy efficient exam buildings

In order to encourage energy saving in high-rise buildings, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Construction, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Hanoi launched the 'Energy Efficiency Building' competition in 2010.

The competition was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on May 6 with more than 30 buildings participating in 5 categories: new and existing buildings; tropical houses; renovated houses, offices; and special nominated buildings.

Building owners will be consulted free of charge by the Organizing Committee for the construction of the application file; solutions to help the building use energy economically and efficiently, bring economic and environmental benefits, increase competitiveness.

This is the fourth year, the 'Energy efficiency building' competition is held in Vietnam. According to the HCM City Energy Saving Center, this competition is not simply to bring immediate benefits to cost-saving buildings, but also an opportunity for businesses to promote the "green - clean - beautiful " Building.
