My parents snore, I snore

Newborn babies whose parents often "drag" on the bed will also be able to develop this disease.

Research in the US also found that children with special reactions - susceptible to asthma or allergies - will also become snore more often later.

The results of this study are very important, the researchers say, because sleep disturbances in children are associated with poor learning later, both heart disease and digestive disorders .

"If early intervention can reduce the illness caused by sleep disturbance," the researcher led Maninder Kalra at Cincinnati Children's Medical Center.

The results are based on data on 681 children living in Cincinnati. All, just over 1 year old, have parents with special reactions. Among them, 80% are white and 55% are boys. Regular snoring is defined as more than 3 times / week. Among parents, 20% of mothers and 46% of parents snore regularly.

As a result, children who have a "wooden drag" father or mother often increase their snoring ability 3 times higher than those whose parents sleep. Besides, children with special reactions also doubled their snoring ability compared to those who did not suffer from this condition.

"Parents who snore while sleeping need to be aware that their children are also at risk of developing the disease," Kalra said.

He advises that this can be reduced by changing lifestyles such as going to bed on time, losing weight, sleeping sideways, avoiding alcohol and being able to take medication.
