NASA announced a photo about 6 billion km away from Earth

The New Horizons spacecraft sent photos of Wishing Well and two 2012 HZ84, 2012 HE85 objects from the farthest distance in the universe.

NASA sent pictures taken from the most remote Earth location ever recorded, Newsweek reported on February 9. With the Long-range Exploratory Photography (LORRI), New Horizons breaks the old record for the farthest photograph twice in a short time.

First, the ship recorded the image of the Wishing Well star cluster at a position 6.12 billion kilometers from Earth on December 5. Two hours later, New Horizons continued to capture two objects in the Kuiper Belt, 2012 HZ84 and 2012 HE85, breaking its own record. These are also the most up-close images of objects in the Kuiper Belt.

"New Horizons has long been the mission of the first and the most, the first mission to discover Pluto, the first mission to explore Kuiper Belt. New Horizons is also the fastest spacecraft ever launched. And now we have taken photos from a position farther from Earth than any other spacecraft in history, "said Alan Stern, a New Horizons expert at Southwest Research.

The old record for the photograph taken from the longest distance belongs to a photograph of Earth named "Pale Blue Dot ", meaning translucent green spots. "" by NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft taken February 14, 1990, at 6.06 billion km from Earth. The picture shows the smallness of the Earth between the vast universe.
