NASA captured the image of the big wildfire in America
The western United States is experiencing serious forest fires. The fire was so big that the fire it emitted could be seen from space.

Large forest fires in America can be seen from space
Suomi NPP satellite of the US Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) in the early morning of August 19 captures the above scene. On the left is Seattle. In the south, the lower left corner is Portland Oregon.

While the satellite is taking this picture, 73 big fires are burning violently, spreading over 6,000 km2 through 10 states. Since the Federal Fire Center has warned so far, the fire is about half the size of Los Angeles. Major fire-stricken states are Washington, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and California.
