NASA wants the candidate to find a way to bake bread in the universe
Programmers from all over the world can attend the two-day competition starting on (April 21). Programmers on ISS International Space Station and the McMurdo facility in Antarctica will participate.
NASA hopes this weekend event will lead to the creation of a variety of mobile applications, software, hardware and some data visualization.
The code that the candidates send will be evaluated and used by NASA in space exploration missions.
One of the tests that NASA wants to explain is how astronauts can bake bread in space, to raise their spirits (reminiscent of family atmosphere).
Another test is to find a better way to monitor water use and drought warning.
