A mixture of green, odorless, and fragrant herbs called by names like Black Mamba, K2 and Spice . They cause strong stimulation similar to illegal drugs like marijuana or ecstasy. People who use this drug get addicted after only a few days.

Black Mamba is a variant of Spice , a synthetic cannabinoid that has the same effect as natural marijuana. However, it is much more effective than marijuana due to its strong impact on brain receptors.

Regular use of Spice can cause recurrence or increase the risk of mental illness. Other dangerous effects include seizures, shortness of breath, kidney failure, cardiac arrest, hallucinations and mental damage.

Robert Ralphs, a crime academy who studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, shared a visit with a homeless Spice addict in Piccadilly Gardens. The man named Carl, 50, bought Spice and wrapped it in a cigarette to smoke. Only seconds after smoking Spice, Carl has symptoms of losing control.

Carl says I smoke Spice because it's better for my body than injecting drugs. He tried to quit Spice, but it was harder to quit than heroin."I feel comfortable and all sadness will disappear when I use Spice , " Carl said.

This drug, when wrapped, looks like a regular cigarette, without smells, so it is used publicly by many people in public places.Spice is an industrial compound manufactured on an industrial scale in China, India and packaged in eye-catching packaging.

Spice chemicals contained in Spice are not included in the list banned by British law, so trade and use are widespread. An estimated 95% of the 3,200 homeless in Manchester are using Spice.

Many addicts should have high demand for Spice. Traditional drug dealers such as cocaine and heroin have started selling Spice, as it is cheaper and less risky.

Manchester is at the center of a crisis but the "living" epidemic has spread to many other cities like Birmingham and Cambridge.

After a series of Spice-related deaths, the British government enacted a new law, banning all nerve stimulants harmful to mental health. This law will take effect in May.
