New era in the study of food and beverage processing

A new integrated industrial park including a wine factory, a brewery and a food processing plant will go into operation in the fall of 2010 at UC Davis University. This is part of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, using state-of-the-art technology utilities to help students conduct research and offer solutions to solve practical problems related to Food technology, beverage and health industry.

Located in the south of the combined industrial park is the August A. Busch III Brewing and Food Science Laboratory, including breweries, general food processing plants and milk processing laboratories. In contrast, to the north of the industrial complex is a teaching and research facility of new wineries.
