Ninh Binh is about to have a wildlife conservation park
After the construction process is completed, the National Wildlife Conservation Park in Ninh Binh will become a center for the conservation of rare animals and attractive tourist attractions.
The project to build the National Wildlife Conservation Park was made according to a decision of the Prime Minister on the approval of forest planning and development for the period of 2011-2020, Ninh Binh provincial electronic portal said. . Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee directs the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to set up a detailed park plan.

The park will be located in Cuc Phuong, Phu Long and Ky Phu communes of Nho Quan district.
The goal of the project is to help Ninh Binh become the center of conservation of rare and precious wildlife species of the country, Southeast Asia and international. Wildlife conservation park will contribute positively to the conservation of Vietnam's genetic resources of rare animals and natural forest ecosystems, serving scientific research. It also helps conservationists combine breeding and conservation of rare animals of Vietnam, Southeast Asia and the world.
Not only for conservation purposes, the park can also become an attractive tourist destination. From the park, visitors can visit Cuc Phuong National Park, Bai Dinh - Trang An, Tam Coc, Bich Dong and Lich Dong tourist resorts. According to experts, these destinations can attract up to two million visitors a year, creating jobs for about 1,000 to 1,500 people.
With a total land area of about 1,669ha, the park will have three main areas, including the central area, management and administration area, service area. Wild animals will live in the central area. After the construction process is completed, the park will operate under a joint stock company model, in which the state holds dominant shares.
The process of building the park will start in 2012 with a total cost of VND 7,634 billion.
