Residents in the Gulf of California (North America) area are frightened by the appearance of giant purple sea slugs. Especially, this species looks very similar to human organs.
The giant purple sea slug suddenly appeared in America
At least one person called the police after thinking that these sea slugs were human hearts . This mollusk can own up to 70 cm in length and originates around cities like Alameda and Oakland.
These sea slugs have a lifespan of about a year and are increasing in number. 22 animals were discovered in a small bay last month.

The recently discovered human organ-like sea slugs are about one hand in size. Some argue that this phenomenon of sea slug is related to warming seawater temperature.
