The fate came to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dao by chance. From a square eagle dropped under the label, after a while germinated and developed into a lush tree, sowing hope for success in the preservation and replication of indigenous square eagle.

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Ngoc Hien, Deputy Chief of Staff encouraged, the Military Command of Ly Son district, who directly participated in the nursery, said: "The nursery process is very simple, just need to water regularly. It is necessary to use fertilizer, the farmers have to know how to choose fruits to grow, if they choose a variety, it is considered as a failure, usually we take fruits in Vien Dong hamlet, in the local Palace. The model of square eagle nursery was deployed by soldiers since 2011, so far it has grown a large number of up to more than 15,000 trees.

The main purpose is to serve the creation of green landscapes on island land, towards developing friendly and sustainable tourism.

Currently, the main roads of Ly Son mainly grow this tree, estimated about 2,500 trees.

Lieutenant Nguyen Duc Thuan, logistic assistant, Ly Son Military Command affirmed: "In the short term, we plant to give to tourists, not to think about business. Recently, the Ly Son District Military Command provided 1,000 square eagle trees to Ho Chi Minh City.
