One million people can live on Mars for the next 40 years
SpaceX plans to bring about one million people to live in glass dome houses on Mars in the next 40–100 years.
Billionaire Elon Musk, founder of SpaceX, revealed that people will live in glass dome houses on Mars, in the Reddit forum's question and answer forum on October 23, according to The Sun.
He said the first inhabitants of Mars will live and plant indoor dome-made plants with glass frames. Meanwhile, robots will be used for mining and tunneling.
"In this way, we can build many pressurized spaces to conduct industrial operations and leave the greenhouse, towards green living space , " Musk said.

He also explained about the process of refueling on Mars.Metal mined from the red planet will be used as propellant for interplanetary rocket transport back to Earth.
SpaceX will perform a probe mission to find the most effective way to obtain metal from the Sabatier reaction, the reaction between Hydro and CO2 creates metal and water. After that, an unmanned spacecraft will be launched into space with equipment to build a propellant fuel factory.
After that, the astronaut will perform the first mission to Mars, bringing equipment to build a basic base and complete the fuel production plant.
Musk said the goal of the plan was to double the number of flights at the time of Earth and Mars being closest to each other in orbit, occurring every 26 months, until the city on Red Planet could develope.
The city will need a population of about one million to sustain it, and this ambition can become reality within the next 40–100 years, the billionaire said.
"I want to make Mars settlement possible, everyone can go to Mars if they want," Musk answered at the International Space Conference last month.
