Orange juice and grapefruit juice prevent osteoporosis

Regular consumption of orange juice and grapefruit juice may help prevent osteoporosis and other diseases, the results of research by scientists at Texas A&M University (USA).
Through research, scientists found that mice that regularly consumed orange and grapefruit juice showed increased bone density and density compared to mice that did not drink the juice.
"We found that both orange juice and grapefruit juice both enhance antioxidant activity, which helps strengthen bone density," said study co-author Bhimu Patil.
Antioxidants, found in natural vitamins, minerals and vegetables, are thought to work against cancer, heart disease and stroke.
According to Patil, scientists need to focus more on the ability to prevent various human diseases of antioxidants.
