Overwhelmed thousands of dolphins to hunt together
More than 1,000 dolphins jump up and soak down constantly while hunting at the coast of Cannery Row, Monterey Bay, California, USA creating an interesting scene.
Very rarely do they swim into large flocks to hunt like this.
"This scene is not uncommon. Every year we see it. However, it is rare for them to swim into such a large herd near the shore so everything becomes very easy to observe," said Patrick Webster, the morning curator. create a media piece of Monterey Bay.
According to Webster, when observing with the naked eye on video will estimate there are several hundred dolphins, but the actual number is up to thousands. He said that it has halved the video speed so viewers can observe more easily.
"It is one of the magical moments of the ocean that people hardly have the opportunity to observe," Webster said.
