Scientists from Texas AgriLife Research, of Texas A&M System, published research results showing that cancer-causing cells have the ability to stop regenerating when sprayed with peach and plum extracts. thereby reducing the development of the disease.

The researchers sprayed the peach-fruit extract rich in carotene and antoxian - on cancer cells and found that "bad" cells not only stopped replicating but also repelled disease development.
