To explore the ability of salamanders to regenerate body parts, a team of Monash University experts in Australia analyzed their immune systems. They pay attention to macrophages - a type of immune cell , Science Daily reported. When the team removed the macrophage, the broken limbs of the salamander could not recover. This fact shows that macrophages are the type of cells that help salamanders recover lost body parts.

"Our findings help the scientific community better understand the conditions necessary for the regeneration of body parts. We can control that process and can even bring it into the human body , " proceeds. Dr. James Godwin, the lead researcher, said.
