Photographs of Jupiter's surface look exactly like a water-picture
Images taken from the Juno spacecraft and JunoCam camera show clouds surrounding the atmosphere in Jupiter's northern hemisphere.
NASA has just released the latest picture of Jupiter's surface that makes viewers marvel at the beauty of the planet with 11 times the diameter of Earth.
The clouds evoke a very interesting association with pictures of Van Gogh's artist.
Images taken from the Juno spacecraft and JunoCam camera show clouds surrounding the atmosphere in Jupiter's northern hemisphere. They look like paint stains or folds of fabric. Juno always revolves around Jupiter and sends many pictures of Earth. In that moment, the clouds evoke a very interesting association with the pictures of the artist.
According to NASA, the Juno spacecraft captured the image at an altitude of about 15,449 km. The image is then further edited by increasing the color saturation to easily identify the clouds.
NASA explained, bright colors can be the result of ammonia and water or only ammonia in the atmosphere. There are also many other chemicals that exist on Jupiter that scientists have not been able to identify.
was launched into space in May 8/2011 before moving into Sao Moc orbit in July 2016. Juno's mission is to explore and record clear images of Jupiter. The ship will orbit Jupiter to study the chemical components, magnetic fields and magnetosphere of this giant planet.
