Desiring to have a product to overcome these shortcomings, Linh and his classmate Dinh Anh Thu Huong are trying to make dishwashing liquid from orange peel - a very easy material to store and store by letting it dry. reduces the effect.

Linh and Huong have taken 20 grams of medium-cut orange peel, mixed with half a liter of water, and put it in a smoothie blender into a paste. The final stage is to pour the mixture into the bottle with 15 ml of alcohol, mix well.

The test results showed that, after washing with the above preparations, normal eating bowls and greasy eating bowls are all clean, hands-free, not slippery. With a frying pan, you must take a large amount, use a rag to clean it several times. In particular, this mixture has the ability to remove stains of tea and coffee on dishes very quickly and easily compared to regular dishwashers.

The effect is because citrus peel contains many essential oils, mainly beta-limonen, which helps to remove very high deposits of dirt and grease. The aroma of essential oils also helps women, housewives relax, reduce stress.

To test the environmental impact, the two girls tried to dump waste water after using the product on small fish ponds and using ornamental plants. As a result, after a while, fish, aquatic animals and ornamental plants still live normally, without any change.

The dishwashing liquid from orange peel has been examined, evaluated and awarded the second prize by the jury of the national competition "Improving water use and protection" . Cao Thuy Linh said in the coming time, she will study more to increase the ability to finish oil and grease removal and preservation time. Currently, if the product is contained in a mineral water bottle, put the lid in the refrigerator compartment, then after 9 days, it still does not reduce the aroma and effect.

The authors also wish to have funding to develop products and disseminate it to the market.

The national competition "Improving the use and protection of water resources" is held annually by the Science & Life Newspaper, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Association for Environmental Protection since 2004, for high school and vocational high school students. The product must be a mini science project, with a practical effect.

This year, the first prize went to Dinh Tran Vu An, a 11th grade student in Dong Thap, with a scheme to clean household waste water before being discharged into the environment. This work will be sent to the Stockholm prize for world water resources held in Sweden.
