Research on wind energy application in Ly Son island

The EU expert team is about to take a trip to visit Ly Son to study the price of this island with wind power.

EU experts will help find solutions to provide electricity for Ly Son island from wind energy (Artwork) According to the news from Quang Ngai People's Committee, on the next 21-7, the Union's wind energy expert team Europe (EU) led by Per Nogaard (Danish nationality) will visit Ly Son island district to study and evaluate wind energy potential on the island off Quang Ngai province.

This is the trip at the request of the Energy Institute of Vietnam Electricity Corporation.

It is known that Vietnam is one of three countries in the project 'assessing the feasibility and capacity building for wind energy development in the Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia' funded by the EU.

Ly Son Island was selected as one of the points to study and evaluate wind energy potential within the framework of the project.

If implemented, this project has a very important meaning for the development of Ly Son island district, meeting the current urgent need for electricity for local people. This is also the third group to survey and find solutions to supply electricity to Ly Son island.
