According to the latest statistics, the wind turbines in Denmark produce 57.4% of electricity for this country in December 2013. 2013 is also the record year for the Danish wind power industry, with 33.8% of electricity consumption coming from wind turbines.

This is the first time a country in the world has achieved a third of its electricity consumption from wind turbines. Only on December 21 last year, the wind turbines in Denmark have exceeded the national electricity consumption.

Commenting on the above issue, Danish Ambassador John Nielsen in Vietnam said: "Denmark has developed competitive skills and unique technology in the field of wind power. The new world record is the result of Government commitments in reducing fossil fuel dependence ".

"In the future, Danish companies and technologies may support Vietnam in developing a green economy , " the Danish Embassy press release quoted Ambassador John Nielsen as saying.
