Parrot is well known for its unmanned and specialized civilian aircraft, such as mapping and crop monitoring. Recently, Parrot has launched a new "Rolling Spider" with the ability to fly or move on the ground, climbing walls, even taking pictures.

With a weight of 65 grams, the Rolling Spider has the ability to connect to a free application on iOS and Android phones, and next to Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1. It allows the user to control to make rounds flips, flipping back and forth while flying.

As the user types once on the control screen, the Rolling Spider will launch four propellers to take off and maintain the height and balance as well as knock again. Thanks to the large and flexible wheels fitted below, the aircraft can "roll" on the floor or ceiling without damaging the objects it encounters.

The main part of the aircraft's sensor system consists of an ultrasonic sensor, a gyroscope, an accelerometer and a pressure sensor to calculate the altitude. The Rolling Spider is also equipped with a camera at the bottom for capturing images, but its resolution is not high and only captures one corner of the image from above.

The only downside of the Rolling Spider is its short battery life - only eight minutes after each full charge (lasting 90 minutes), but users can use battery backup. Later this month, the product will be available in the market.
