Russian airship to space station

Three astronauts in Russia's Soyuz train arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on July 17.

The Soyuz was launched at Baikonur space airport in Kazakhstan on July 15.

The Soyuz TMA-05M was launched from the Baikonur space airport in northern Kazakhstan from the previous two days. Suni Williams (USA), Yuri Malenchenko (Russia) and Aki Hoshide (Japan) are the names of three travelers traveling with the ship. The spacecraft connected to ISS at 8.51 on July 17, Russia time (11h51 on the same day in Vietnam time), RIA Novosti said.

The new astronaut team will work on the ISS until November. During that time they will perform more than 30 experiments in space.

"The process of automatic connection between the train and the station took place at the scheduled time , " said a spokesman for the control center of the Russian Federal Space Agency.

Astronauts are on ISS including an American and two Russians.

ISS, flying at a height of 410km above the ground, will welcome 9 spacecraft in the next 17 days. The week after the Japanese transport ship HTV3 will fly to the station.
