Russian farmers use drones to grow rice
In the Krasnoyarsk region, Russia, for the first time rice is sown by drones. Thanks to technology, it is possible to sow up to 150 hectares per day.
People can apply this method of sowing seeds at any time of the day.
In addition to rice cultivation, drones could be used for the cultivation of other small-seeded crops.
This particular drone belongs to the state-owned enterprise Kuban Products.
This is the only agricultural enterprise in Russia that uses this method of sowing.
The first pilot-controlled rice sowing trial conducted in the Krasnodar region has yielded very positive results.
Drones help sow seeds that cover up to 150 hectares per day.
This will be a very important new step in reviving the previous role of domestic agricultural aviation.
At the same time, increase the productivity of agricultural products.
Drones can now be used to sow rice, alfalfa and mustard plants.
This is also a remarkable achievement, serving as a basis for developing equipment for seeding and afforestation by drones in remote and hard-to-reach areas.
