After more than 3 years of being established and put into production, the rice production cooperation group of Huong Dien, located in the area of ​​Ray Soc hamlet, Chau Dien commune, Cau Ke district, Tra Vinh province, has just been granted by the National Office of Intellectual Property. Certificate of trademark.

This is the first cooperative group of rice seed production in Tra Vinh province.

The Huong Dien rice production cooperative group was established, with a total productive area of ​​33ha of 32 members, of which 30 were Khmer ethnic people. On average, each year, the cooperative team provides more than 500 tons of certified seed rice to farmers in the localities in Cau Ke district.

In particular, in the past 2 years, with the support of science and technology of the Mekong Delta Rice Institute and Tra Vinh University, the rice production cooperative group of Huong Dien has produced 5 grade rice varieties. confirm high productivity, quality rice to export standards, adapt well to the soil conditions of Cau Ke district.

According to Mr. Dang Van Doan, the leader of Huong Dien rice production cooperative group, the cooperative group has now developed to the cooperative, in order to expand production and business, to bring Huong Dien rice seed brand further. . Not only rice seed production, the cooperative also aims to produce 'bio-organic rice products.'

In the winter-spring crop of 2012-2013, the cooperative cooperated with the Mekong Delta Rice Institute, Tra Vinh University to organize a model of producing 15 ha of bio-organic rice in the area of ​​Rang Soc and O Mich hamlets. , O Tung .

The model is used organic products in the process of rice production to produce clean, good quality rice products.

After the winter-spring rice crop, the cooperative will transfer bio-organic rice production techniques to all farmers in need to advance to build a trademark of "Chau Dien organic rice" product , Help members and farmers in the district increase their income.
