Recently the US Consumer Safety Commission said 22 cases of children swallowing magnets since 2009. According to the New York Times , if someone swallowed a single magnet, they were less at risk. But if someone swallowed two or more tablets, they could die.

The Canadian government explained on the Health Information page: " If someone swallowed two or more magnets, they will move through the intestines until they stick together. During the process of moving, they have can cause even a slow tearing of the intestinal wall, which is very dangerous for them ".

"My wife and husband prayed for me to overcome the danger. And the miracle happened when she was rescued by doctors," said Aaron Bushnell, Payton's father.

The Centers for Disease Control said random accidents are the leading cause of death for children aged 1 to 4 years, followed by birth defects, infections and other diseases. The concern is that accidents continue to be the biggest threat for children until they reach 24 years of age.

Payton's father and mother said on KPTV: "We will definitely pay more attention to Payton. She has a habit of eating miscellaneous because it is too young to know. We want to share this story to warn you. other parents about the risk of electromagnets around young children ".
