Scientists understand why sometimes when you work, you feel very bored

The feeling of "boredom" of work turned out to be a good study.

Do you feel happy with your work? Are you happy when you have to sit in the office?

In fact, these are questions that don't have an exact answer, because it depends entirely on when you're asked, and who asks who you are. In general, everyone will answer that they are completely comfortable with the work they are doing.

However, there are 2 people who disagree. That is Alex Bryson - professor of social quantitative science at College London, and George MacKerron economist from Sussex University (UK).

They argue that previous studies only reflect a small part of the study participants. Moreover, candidates tend to think about other events in the past before answering, so the results may be incorrect.

To solve this problem, experts have developed Mappiness - an app on smartphones that allows users to save their feelings and schedules. And so, experts can know the feelings of users right at the time of speaking, instead of being influenced by subsequent events.

More specifically, the application has collected data from more than 1 million people. App users will be asked to conduct a small survey, consisting of simple questions such as current emotions, single status, means of transportation . and ultimately action do it at that time.

What about the results? As it turned out, having to work in the office was considered the nearest "boring" factor even though the job made money. In addition, things that surpass "work" are "bedridden sick".

According to experts, having to "pay a salary" day after day has a negative impact on people's emotions. Even when they earn money, the pressure and stress of the job makes everything very depressing. And even when the work is combined with some unrelated actions, like . surfing the web, Facebook, Messenger . the work still has a negative impact on their morale.

However, research is just research. Most importantly, we don't want to bring the "unemployed" name anyway, right?
