Seagate offers the Maxtor OneTouch hard drive with a capacity of 1.5TB
On 11 October 2006, Seagate announced that it was about to release a new 1.5TB hard drive called OneTouch III Turbo Edition for about $ 799.99.
Onetouch III Turbo Edition is pre-formatted for Macintosh users along with FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and Universal Serial Bus 2.0 interfaces. Inside this hard drive are two 750GB hard drives configured simultaneously in a RAID array that produces a total capacity of 1.5TB. "OneTouch" is intended for large systems to back up the Mac's internal hard drive by pressing a software activation button included in it with the drive.

The company also promoted Maxtor Shared Storage II for storage with small systems. The products available on the market are 1TB drives for $ 799.99, Shared Storage II with 320GB and 500GB single-drive capacities for $ 349.99 and $ 449.99 respectively.
Shared Storage II devices are integrated with a single 10/100/1000 RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB 2.0 ports for sharing printers, storage, extensions or external data rotation. This hard drive includes software for PC and Mac users who can take digital media and back up their local files.
