Seagate's first wireless USB mobile hard disk
At the Intel Developer Forum in the United States, Seagate introduced a number of unique hard disks, including a portable hard disk connected to a computer via a unique wireless USB.
This is a 2.5-inch SATA hard disk, 120GB capacity with 7,200 rpm, the Momentus series, arguably the world's first mobile hard disk equipped with a wireless USB port.
Momentus is a high-end hard disk line dedicated to laptops and has more advanced features than desktop hard disks.
In addition, Seagate will introduce 3 more high-capacity hard disks, from 250 GB or more, equipped with a variety of high-quality shock and security technologies. These 3 hard disks are manufactured using orthogonal recording technology with data logging density of up to 132 Gigabit per square inch.
