Security fixes make IE
Microsoft has confirmed that the company is conducting a due diligence that a new security patch for Internet Explorer has been released that users cannot use the browser to surf the web.
The security patch for Internet Explorer was officially released on Tuesday last week and is part of Microsoft's monthly security update. Immediately after Microsoft released the MS07-069 update on December 11, many users rushed to Microsoft support pages to "call for help." These users claim that they cannot connect to the Internet because they cannot start IE or even if they can boot, they cannot connect to the necessary websites.
'60% of the time I use IE I often notice that IE is having problems and needs to be turned off immediately ,' said Bill Drake on the Windows Update Newsgroups page. Some other users said IE7 almost only displays the white screen and the sign is loading the page.
Harold Decker, CEO of Gold Peak IndustriesNA, said he had to issue a notice asking employees to stop installing new updates from Microsoft after the PCs were upgraded. ' These PCs continue to suffer from IE problems and errors. It seems that the error only occurs with open windows or when the user changes the default homepage of the browser '.
Microsoft said it was investigating details of the problem. ' If necessary, Microsoft will update the Knowledge Base for MS07-069 updates and guide users on solutions to troubleshoot problems .'
