Security World 2007 was first organized in Vietnam

Conference - Security and data security exhibition 2007 (Security World 2007) for the first time with the topic 'Network security and data security for governments and organizations and individuals in Vietnam in the period entering WTO integration 'will take place in two days 20-21 March 2007 at Hanoi Tower, 49 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi.

In the context of the integration process, the issue of network security and data security is becoming very interested in Vietnam. When the infrastructure and network technologies have met the requirements of bandwidth, service quality and the situation of online attacks is increasing, the security issue is more and more focused. Not only Internet service providers, government agencies, but also businesses and organizations are more aware of information security.

According to the Vietnam Computer Emergency Rescue Center (VNCERT), if each computer needs about $ 2 to overcome the consequences of virus infection, then with 1.4 million computers infected within 1 week, the number of losses was about 2.8 million USD (more than 40 billion VND). However, the actual damage is not only a time to investigate, to restore the system that affects workflows, business production efficiency, quality and service. Behind that is the worry about the ability to ensure information security for businesses and organizations when they are facing a shortage in both IT manpower and the necessary understanding of network security.

Therefore, although Vietnam 's small security market has a small but potential growth potential, it is among the highest in the world. Frost & Sullivan's forecast shows that the network security market in Vietnam, from now to 2011, will achieve an average annual growth rate of 32%.

Being aware of that need and development trend, the first Conference on Network Security and Data Security Exhibition was organized, with the aim of creating an independent forum for Government agencies and organizations. , enterprises, solution providers, experts in the field of national and international network security and data security share practical experiences in deploying ICT applications in developed countries; help find solutions for network security and data security in Vietnam.
