Sharks have weak jaws

The series of shark jaws by American genius director Steven Spielberg has spread horrifying obsession for scary sharks in the hearts of viewers.

However, the scientific community has just published a startling information: the abominable "cannibal" possesses surprisingly weak fights. According to the Telegraph, researchers at the University of Tampa (USA) found that sharks actually have very weak jaws compared to their size.

The group of scientists drew the conclusion after studying 10 different sharks and measuring the bites of small sharks, like sand sharks. They continued to test larger sharks by using electricity to stimulate the jaw muscles.

Although they are weak, they can rip off prey because of their sharp teeth and their jaws too wide. Remarkably, the large white shark, about 6 meters long, can easily plug sharp teeth through any prey that hangs before them.
